Nook Pilates is in the front room of my home located near Troutman Park in Midtown Fort Collins. Upon entering the front door, you are in the Nook Pilates studio. 

Pilates is total body conditioning that improves strength, flexibility, coordination and balance.  Alignment and correct form are emphasized in the exercises to encourage healthy joint mechanics and balanced muscle development. I teach to clients with a broad range of experience levels and varying health conditions and enjoy figuring out how Pilates can best serve each person.

I aim to provide a quality service and positive experience for every client and believe Pilates can be restorative to both body and mind. I have fun working with clients , and it's great to see their progress and hear how much better they feel in their bodies.

I have been practicing Pilates with Michele for two years. She is an intuitive, kind, skilled instructor with a quirky sense of humor who makes sessions fun, invigorating, and productive. Michele changes the mix of movements every week to keep things interesting yet still keeps the needs of individual students in mind. She gradually increases workout challenges over time to keep everyone progressing in the study of Pilates. Without fail I leave each session feeling relaxed and reconnected with my body. Soreness is eased away. Tight joints feel relaxed and loosened. Muscles feel stronger. The Nook is a pleasant, tranquil space.  -Katherine H.
